K-drama heartthrob Rowoon just had the ultimate fanboy moment!
At the prestigious 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala held on Saturday, November 2 (local time), Rowoon met Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
On November 10, the 28-year-old idol-turned-actor shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, “All-time legend in la Art + Film gala 2024 lacma.”
Many Kdrama stars and Hollywood elite attended the gala earlier this month including Moon Ga Young, Lee Soo Hyuk, Lee Jung Jae, Lee Ji Ah, Soo Joo Park, Andrew Garfield, Kim Kardashian, Yara Shahidi, Charli XCX, Blake Lively, and more.
The 13th annual gala was co-chaired by Micheal Govan, Eva Chow, and Leonardo DiCaprio. Over 650 influential figures from the entertainment, film, and fashion industry attended the event.
Director Baz Luhrmann and artist Simon Leigh were honored at the 2024 LACMA Art + Film Gala. Moreover, renowned singers Troye Siwan and Charli XCX gave a thrilling performance.

On the work front, Rowoon joins the Disney+ series “Takryu” alongside Shin Ye Eun, Park Seo Ham, and Park Ji Hwan. This historical epic follows a former bully’s journey to becoming a Joseon legend through his physical strength.
He left K-pop group SF9 last year to focus on his acting career. His notable acting credits include “Destined With You,” “Extraordinary You,” “The Matchmakers,” and “Tomorrow.”
