Rowoon recently expressed his thoughts on the conclusion of the KBS 2TV Monday-Tuesday drama, The Matchmakers.
On December 26, Rowoon shared his thoughts through FNC Entertainment on the ending of the drama The Matchmakers. He mentioned that while playing the character Jung Woo, he took on the challenge of a comedy genre, which he had previously considered difficult.
The Destined With You actor acknowledged that there are still areas where he can improve but expressed his determination to focus on bringing unexpectedness to his performances. He also emphasized his commitment to continue striving for good acting and not being afraid of failure.
He also mentioned that he was able to successfully wrap up the drama with the support of a talented director, scriptwriter, and fellow actors.
Rowoon expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone who worked alongside him and to all the fans who have shown love for the drama and his character, Jung Woo. He hopes that Jung Woo will be remembered fondly and asks for continued support.
In The Matchmakers, Rowoon portrayed the character Shim Jung woo, a widower in Hanyang who harbors resentment. He skillfully depicted the character’s evolving emotions, ranging from comedy to heartfelt romance, and received positive feedback for his performance.
