Casting for the highly anticipated K-drama “Unknown Seoul” is nearing its final stages.
Ryu Kyung Soo is on board to star alongside Park Bo Young and GOT7’s Jinyoung in a leading role in the drama “Unknown Seoul”, as casting negotiations continue.
On October 8, News 1 reported that Ryu Kyung Soo landed the lead role in “Unknown Seoul”, directed by Park Shin Woo and written by Lee Kang, premiering next year.
In “Unknown Seoul”, Ryu Kyung Soo plays Han Se Jin, a hedge fund executive turned farmer, whose city-boy charisma entangles him in a complicated relationship with Yoo Mi Ji (Park Bo Young).
Park Bo Young is considering a dual role as twin sisters, while Jinyoung is eyed to play Ho Soo, a childhood friend of one of the sisters.
Directed by Park Shin Woo (“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay”) and written by Lee Kang (“Youth of May”), “Unknown Seoul” is a romantic drama about twin sisters who swap lives due to a lie.
Jinyoung is currently enlisted in the military and will be discharged on November 7. After his military discharge, “Unknown Seoul” is set to start filming by year-end.
