Reports are surfacing that Seo Hyun Jin and TWICE’s Dahyun may star in the Korean remake of ‘Love Me’, a popular Swedish drama series.
On November 5, World Biz & Sports World exclusively reported that Seo Hyun Jin is considering the lead role of Seo Jun Kyung, an obstetrician-gynecologist, in the upcoming drama ‘Love Me’.
While she appears perfect, Jun Kyung is a deeply lonely character who evolves as she forms new relationships and experiences emotions.
Dahyun of TWICE has been offered the role of Yoon Sol, a charismatic dance crew leader, in the drama ‘Love Me’. Yoon Sol is well-liked, intelligent, reliable, and successful in love and work.
‘Love Me’ is an adaptation of the Swedish drama, follows a woman who seemingly has it all, but struggles with inner loneliness.
The drama explores the complexities of human relationships, love, and family dynamics, revealing the vulnerabilities of even the most fortunate individuals.
Following her role in the indie film ‘Run To You’ this year, Dahyun landed her first leading role in ‘You Are The Apple of My Eye.’ She also made her debut as a leading actress at the 29th Busan International Film Festival in October for the world premiere of the movie “You Are The Apple of My Eye.”
Dahyun is a singer and actress, and a member of TWICE, which debuted in 2015 and celebrates its 10th anniversary next year.
On the other hand, Seo Hyun Jin has shown his acting skills in “Another Miss Oh”, “Dr. Romantic”, “The Beauty Inside”, “Why Her”), and more. She is set to star in the Netflix series, “The Trunk” with Gong Yoo, premiering on November 29.
Screenwriters Park Eun Young and Park Hee Kwon (‘The Third Charm’, ‘I Have Not Done My Best Yet’) will pen the script for ‘Love Me’, with production starting early next year.
