The 2024 Billboard Music Awards celebrated the best in music, and K-pop fans have plenty to cheer about. SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, and Jungkook were among the big winners, taking home top honors for the K-pop categories.
On December 12, the BBMAs 2024 ceremony was held in Los Angeles, with Michelle Buteau serving as host.
SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids were also part of the performing lineup and performed their latest hits. Stray Kids performed “JJAM” and “CHK CHK BOOM” whereas SEVENTEEN took the stage with “Love, Money, Fame.”

- Top Global K-pop Song: Jungkook’s Title Track “Standing Next To You”
- Top Global K-pop Artist: Stray Kids
- Top K-pop Touring Artist: SEVENTEEN
Last year, Stray Kids took home the Top K-pop Album award for “5-STAR”. Jungkook’s “Seven” won Top Global K-pop Song. NewJeans was named Top Global K-pop Artist, while BLACKPINK claimed the Top K-pop Touring Artist award.
In addition, Benson Boone, Teddy Swims, Charli XCX, Travis Scott, Drake, Bruno Mars, SZA, Taylor Swift, Shaboozey, and more were among the Billboard Music Awards winners.
It has been a remarkable year for K-pop artists, as they have received prestigious awards at various international ceremonies, including the VMAs and EMAs.
