K-pop’s global takeover continues, with top acts like SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, ENHYPEN, and IVE landing spots on the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry’s (IFPI) coveted year-end lists.

The IFPI’s 2024 Global Artist Chart and Global Album Chart were revealed on February 18. It ranked the world’s most popular artists based on album sales, downloads, and streaming figures. This prestigious chart provides a comprehensive snapshot of global music trends.

Top 20 Global IFPI Global Recording Artists

Two popular K-pop boy bands SEVENTEEN and Stray Kids made the Top 10 of Global IFPI Global Recording Artist. On the other hand, Taylor Swift took the lead for the fifth time.

SEVENTEEN has made its second appearance on the Global Recording Artist list, while Stray Kids returns for the third time. ENHYPEN has also earned a spot on the prestigious list for the first time.

Top 20 of IFPI’s Global Album Chart 2024 was largely dominated by international artists such as Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Billie Eilish, SZA, Ariana Grande, Benson Boone, and more.
