SEVENTEEN is going above and beyond to celebrate a decade in the industry.
As the group approaches their monumental 10th debut anniversary, they have announced a heartfelt gift for fans. SEVENTEEN will hold an outdoor showcase “Burst Stage” at Seoul’s iconic Jamsu Bridge on May 25, 2025, just one day before their official anniversary date.
Over a decade, the 13-member K-pop boy band has hit many milestones and will be the first to perform at the Jamsu Bridge.
On May 10, PLEDIS Entertainment revealed exciting plans for SEVENTEEN’s 10th anniversary celebrations. The group will host ‘B-DAY PARTY: BURST Stage’ at Seoul’s iconic Jamsu Bridge on May 25 at 7:30 PM KST.
This highly anticipated event will not only welcome in-person attendees but will also be livestreamed globally. This will allow CARATs (SEVENTEEN’s official fandom) worldwide to join the celebration simultaneously.
As several members prepare for mandatory military service, SEVENTEEN is making their last group promotions particularly special. The upcoming 10th-anniversary concert at Jamsu Bridge and the new tour will serve as their final activities before enlistments begin.
Members Jeonghan and Wonwoo have already begun their military service, while Hoshi and Woozi are next in line.
This marks the end of an era for the group, transitioning into a period where members will focus on solo projects while fulfilling military duties. The carefully planned celebrations allow SEVENTEEN to properly close this chapter before temporarily promoting in smaller units during enlistment periods.
Once these activities conclude, the group will enter a new phase where members will balance individual pursuits with mandatory military service. While some focus on solo projects, others will begin fulfilling their national duties, temporarily shifting SEVENTEEN’s group dynamics until all members reunite post-service. It is predicted that all SEVENTEEN members will complete military service by late 2028 or 2029.
After the Jamsu Bridge showcase, SEVENTEEN will release their 5th studio album, “HAPPY BURSTDAY,” on May 26, the 2015 debut date. The title cleverly combines the English words, “Birthday” and “Burst”, hinting at new beginnings. This reflects their concept of transformation and rebirth, as shown in recent teasers.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN’s Japan fan meeting “HOLIDAY” at Saitama Super Arena on May 10-11 sold out quickly. Fans who missed out on tickets can watch the concert through a live viewing in Japanese movie theaters on May 10 or via online live streaming on Weverse on May 11.
