K-pop powerhouses SEVENTEEN, NewJeans, and TXT are donating iconic costumes to a charity auction at the Grammy Awards.

On January 21, HYBE announced that SEVENTEEN, TXT, and NewJeans, have generously donated stage-worn clothing and accessories to the MusiCares charity auction.

MusiCares, the charitable organization and presenters of the Recording Academy, works to support the health and welfare of the music community. One of its biggest events each year is a charity auction held before the Grammy Awards. It features exclusive items from artists to raise funds for those in need.

This year’s MusiCares charity auction features exclusive items from the aforementioned three K-pop groups. SEVENTEEN has donated the outfits and accessories from their unit music video for the best album ’17 IS RIGHT HERE’.

TXT contributed the outfits from their concept photos for the 6th mini album ‘minisode 3: TOMORROW’. Meanwhile, NewJeans donated their stunning stage outfits from the 2024 Billboard Women in Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Many renowned artists including Ringo Starr, Coldplay, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Billy Joel, and SZA are contributing to the charity auction this year.

SEVENTEEN, TXT, and NewJeans are making their debut participation in the MusiCares charity auction. They follow in the footsteps of labelmates BTS, who have consistently supported the cause from 2020 to 2023. BTS’ contribution includes outfits from their “Dynamite” music video and the 2021 Grammy Awards. In addition, they received praise by donating signed microphones.

The 67th Grammy Awards ceremony is set to take place on February 2 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. It will be accompanied by the annual MusiCares charity auction on the same day.
