SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi and aespa Karina are the ultimate friendship goals!
The duo formed a friendship after appearing on the music variety show, “Synchro U” this year. They always support each other and have participated in dance challenges for “Whiplash” (aespa’s song) and “LOVE, MONEY, FAME” (a song by SEVENTEEN).
SEVENTEEN members are currently holding concerts in the US as part of their world tour “RIGHT HERE.” On October 30, Hoshi took to Instagram to share a photo with Karina’s Prada ad Billboard in New York.
He wrote the sweetest caption, “Nice to see you in New York, my dongsaeng (younger sibling).” Hoshi used Karina’s solo song “UP,” which has created quite a stir on the music charts, as background music.
Fans are praising Hoshi for mentioning and supporting Karina despite the HYBE’s recent controversy. The label is seen ridiculing many K-pop groups including aespa in their controversial internal monitoring report.
On the work front, aespa and SEVENTEEN made their comebacks last month, with “Whiplash” (October 21) and “SPILL THE FEELS” (October 14) respectively. They are set to perform at MAMA Awards 2024 this month.
