SEVENTEEN Jun’s win at the prestigious award show is a well-deserved honor, highlighting his exceptional contributions to the world of music and entertainment. The 28th Busan International Film Festival began on October 4th, and the ceremony for the 2023 Asia Content Awards & Global OTT Awards on October 8th. 

As the name suggests, there were many international nominees as well. Stars from several countries including China, India, Taiwan, Philippines, and more were nominated in the competitive and non-competitive categories. 

Non-competitive categories included Lifetime Achievement Awards, Rising Star of the Year, New Technology Award, and Special Contribution for K-Content. Wen Junhui won the Rising Star of the Year for efficiently playing the lead role in Exclusive Fairytale. He jointly won this top honor with Taiwanese actress Buffy Chen.

The Exclusive Fairytale starring Wen Junhui and Zhang Miao Yi premiered in July 2023 on iQIYI.
