Mingyu from SEVENTEEN showcased his captivating presence on the cover of a fashion magazine, exuding a delicate yet powerful charm.
Mingyu teamed up with renowned fashion magazine ARENA HOMME+ and prestigious Italian luxury brand Bvlgari for an exclusive cover shoot, which was unveiled on February 15.
Besides the captivating cover shoot, ARENA HOMME+ released an insightful interview that offers a sneak peek into Mingyu’s artistic mindset.
Mingyu shared a story about his trip to Italy on the tvN show NANA TOUR. He mentioned that despite the presence of cameras, there was no directing involved. It truly felt like a genuine vacation for him. Mingyu also expressed some slight embarrassment while watching the show, feeling that he showed his authentic and unfiltered self.
The SEVENTEEN rapper finds immense joy and happiness on stage, which serves as his primary motivation for releasing a new album every year.
He shared, “I like it best when I’m on stage. If I want to stand on stage, I have to have a new album. Of course, it’s hard when I’m working on songs and practicing,” and added, “The joy I feel when I stand on stage after the difficulty is several times bigger.”
When asked what he expects to be in 10 years, he playfully replied, ‘I’ll be 38 in 10 years.” Mingyu further shared, “Personally, I hope people think, ‘Mingyu has become cooler’ and ‘He’s more of a man.’ Musically, I hope my own style has become established to some extent.”
