Did someone take the phrase ‘flooding the market’ way too seriously or is it some other plot twist?

SEVENTEEN dropped the compilation album, 17 IS RIGHT HERE, to strong sales, surpassing 2 million copies on day 1.

Right after the news of the group breaking all sorts of records surfaces, thousands of copies suddenly appear on the streets of Japan. This bizarre incident has raised some serious questions about the authenticity of SEVENTEEN’s record-breaking sales claims.

A video trending on X with over 7 million impressions is quickly gaining attention. In the video, fans can spot thousands of albums dumped on the streets of Japan along with the cardboard boxes.

It is possible that this situation occurred due to bulk purchasing. Previously, accusations have been made against SEVENTEEN fans for engaging in bulk buying to inflate sales figures. Once the desired sales record is achieved, the albums are then discarded on the streets.

Fans are expressing disappointment and frustration that the group’s highly anticipated comeback has been overshadowed by the controversy surrounding HYBE and ADOR, and its alleged ties to the Dahn World cult.

With HYBE facing intense scrutiny, fans feel that SEVENTEEN’s return to the music scene has been unfairly marred, depriving the group of the attention and spotlight they deserve.

On another note, SEVENTEEN will be holding concerts in Japan this month as part of their FOLLOW AGAIN tour.
