Song Da Eun, best known for her appearance on Heart Signal 2, is facing renewed speculation about her romantic connection with BTS’s Jimin. The long-standing rumors are once again reignited after she posted a TikTok that captures a home visit with the singer.
The video, posted on her TikTok account, shows her opening the door of her apartment and rushing toward the elevator. When the doors open, Jimin appears, his face partly hidden under a hat and mask.
He can be heard saying, “Oh, you startled me. Did you know I was coming in? I purposely didn’t tell you anything,” to which Song Da Eun laughs. The setting is Nine One Hannam in Hannam-dong, Seoul, a luxury complex known to be Jimin’s residence.
The short video quickly reignited speculation that the actress and the BTS member may be more than friends. This isn’t the first time Song Da Eun has drawn attention for fueling dating rumors with Jimin.
Over the past few years, she has shared multiple posts that fans interpreted as hints of a relationship. In 2022, online communities pointed out that she and Jimin often posted photos around the same time and even seemed to share similar interests, from favorite movies to the type of plants they kept.
Around the same period, she uploaded a picture of herself wearing BTS merchandise and later posted an image of earphones engraved with the names “Daeun” and “Jimin,” which quickly spread across fan communities before being deleted. She has also uploaded photos where the background appeared to resemble Jimin’s home.
In some cases, she uploaded cryptic posts that fans thought were directed at Jimin, while others accused her of seeking attention by using BTS-related imagery. Even when she deleted suspicious posts, new ones would surface shortly after, keeping the conversation alive. Song Da Eun herself has at times addressed the issue, “Please ask someone else about things unrelated to me… I’m not insane. I know how scary fandoms can be.”
In the past, she was linked to the Burning Sun scandal, although she denied any involvement and stated she was preparing legal action against those spreading false information.
She was also criticized in 2018 and 2019 for sharing photos that hinted at relationships with other celebrities, including her Heart Signal 2 co-star Kim Hyun Woo and music producer Gray, though those rumors also went unconfirmed.
The latest video, however, marks the first time Song Da Eun has seemingly revealed Jimin’s face in the same frame as her own. Fans have been enraged and criticizing Song for invading Jimin’s privacy and tarnishing his reputation.
Meanwhile, BIGHIT MUSIC has never officially addressed the Jimin and Song Da Eun dating rumors.
