Song Hye Kyo is known for her stunning youthful looks and iconic roles in dramas like Descendants of the Sun and The Glory.
More recently, she has spoken candidly about whether or not she feels pressured to look young in the cutthroat entertainment industry.
In a recent interview with Harper’s BAZAAR, the 42-year-old star opened up about aging gracefully and if she feels any pressure to look young.
She shared her thoughts on aging, saying, “I don’t feel burdened by aging in front of the camera, it’s a natural part of life.”
The Glory actress confessed to trying to look a bit younger than her age, “Although I try to appear ‘a bit younger than my actual age,’ I don’t want to forcibly push away the natural passage of time.”
Song Hye Kyo revealed that she is more into simpler clothes and lighter clothes as she ages “Clearly, as we age, we can’t just keep looking perpetually young on the outside. In fact, I think it’s more stylish as we get older to wear lighter makeup and simpler clothes.”
On February 16, the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar Korea unveiled its cover featuring Song Hye Kyo, highlighting her vibrant personality and the beauty of Chaumet jewelry.
