On February 29, his agency, Namoo Actors revealed that Song Kang will be enlisting in the military as an active-duty soldier on April 2.
A representative of Namoo Actors revealed, “There will be no separate official event held on the day of entry to the recruit training center, and we ask for your understanding that admission will be held privately to prevent safety accidents due to on-site congestion.”
The agency also mentioned that they would appreciate the warm love and support from everyone. Moreover, they also revealed that he wants to fulfill his national defense duties faithfully and come back in a more mature and healthy state.
Lastly, Song Kang’s most recent work, My Demon, was a big hit not only in Korea but also internationally. The Season 3 of Sweet Home, which Song Kang filmed before enlisting, will be released later this year.
