Song Kang is officially back after completing his 18-month mandatory military service, and he is ready to reunite with his fans. He enlisted in April 2024 and was discharged on October 1, 2025, after serving as an active-duty soldier.
During his service, he stayed visible to the public by appearing in a promotional video for the military’s “Defense Help Call” counseling service. In addition, a photo of him with BTS member V also gained huge attention. His projects, including Sweet Home 3 and the film Escape, were released while he was serving.
To celebrate his return, Song Kang will hold a fan meeting titled “ROUND 2” at Yonsei University’s Centennial Memorial Hall Concert Hall on November 8, 2025, at 6 PM. The title combines the racing term “round,” which means the next stage, with his initial “S,” stylized as the number 2.
The official poster shows him in a black racing outfit, which adds to the theme and excitement. Tickets for the Seoul fan meeting will go on sale on October 15, 2025, through Ticketlink.
The agency said, “Song Kang will hold his first fan meeting after being discharged from the military. We are preparing various segments,” and added, “We hope it will be a time of joyful memories for the fans.”
This will be Song Kang’s first chance to meet his fans, lovingly called “Songpyeon,” since his discharge, and his agency, Namoo Actors, promised special segments to make the event unforgettable. He will also continue with fan meetings in China and Japan, including events in Yokohama and Osaka.
On the work front, Song Kang is already reviewing several drama offers as part of his comeback, including Four Hands, a coming-of-age musical set in an arts high school. If confirmed, he will play a piano prodigy in this youth-centered musical story.
