Looks like Song Kang has some surprises up his sleeve to entertain fans until he finishes his military service.
Previously, reports have it that My Demon actor is set to make a special appearance in the movie Escape. On April 15, JTBC confirmed Song Kang’s special appearance in the upcoming military movie Escape.
The plot of Escape revolves around the bold escape and pursuit of Gyu Nam, a North Korean soldier aiming for a future beyond the ceasefire line, and Hyun Sang, a National Security Agency operative assigned to stop him.
This project is helmed by director Lee Jong Pil and features actors Lee Je Hoon and Koo Kyo Hwan.
With this, Song Kang will be making his on-screen return after 6 years since his appearance in the movie Beautiful Vampire in 2018.
He joined the military on April 2 and shared a heartfelt letter on his fan cafe the day before the enlistment.
Lastly, Sweet Home 3 starring Song Kang is scheduled to release this summer. He is currently appearing as a storyteller in an audition program, I-LAND 2.
