JYP Entertainment has provided an update on Stray Kids member Seungmin’s health. The main vocalist recently experienced recurring discomfort in his foot.

On March 12, the label shared that he was diagnosed with a “suspected stress fracture in his left ankle.” They reassured fans that the foot injury “does not affect him walking or carrying out light daily activities.” JYP added, “Medical specialists have advised that sufficient rest is necessary for a swift recovery.”

As a result, Seungmin will avoid “strenuous physical activities and focus on healing.”

This means his participation in the group’s sixth official fan meeting, “STAY in Our Little House,” may be limited. The yearly events are scheduled for March 28–29 and April 4–5 at the Incheon Inspire Arena. The final day of each weekend is available for global streaming via Beyond LIVE. While he is expected to appear on stage, choreographed performances may be adjusted to reduce strain on his foot.

Seungmin has faced previous foot issues. During late 2025 promotions for the album DO IT, he missed a live broadcast of SBS’s Inkigayo due to foot inflammation. At that time, he received treatment to manage the condition. Fans had noticed him limping during earlier appearances.

Meanwhile, Stray Kids are enjoying a remarkable 2026, following a series of global successes. On the IFPI 2025 annual global charts, the group ranked second in both Global Album Sales and Global Artist, and sixth in Global Album.

Their album DO IT, released in November 2025 as part of the SKZ IT TAPE series. It topped the Billboard 200 for eight consecutive weeks and included the double title tracks Do It and DIVINE, produced by the group’s in-house team, 3RACHA.

Looking ahead, the group is set to perform at major festivals, including the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6 and Rock in Rio in Brazil on September 11.
