Super Junior’s Ryeowook Shares Wedding Plans for May in Heartfelt Letter

Super Junior’s Ryeowook has revealed his wedding plans in a heartfelt letter addressed to fans.

On March 29, he took to Instagram to share the news of his marriage in a lengthy, emotional statement.

He began by saying, “I have some news that I want to share directly with our ELFs, my work, and my precious friends, who always support me with all my might and send me love.”

Ryeowook then reflected on his debut days saying, “On November 6, 2005, I first met ELFs in early winter when I was 19 years old, and now I have become 38-year-old Kim Ryeowook, 20 years since my debut. Then and now, our ELFs have always stayed by our side.”

He then revealed his marriage plans, expressing So, while I want to be the first to say this, I am also more cautious about saying it.

As you all know, I have a friend that I am seeing. This is not a sudden decision; we have been thinking about it for a long time and after a long discussion with our members and company, we will be getting married at the end of May this spring.”

The Super Junior member than thanked ELFs for supporting him even though he ‘was not perfect and clumsy so far.’

Lastly, he thanked members and SM Entertainment as well as apologized to those who felt shock from the news.

Ryeowook and Ari from Tahiti have been publicly together since 2020. According to SM, after mutual confirmation, Ryeowook and Ari, who were close senior-junior friends, evolved into a romantic relationship.

He is the second Super Junior member to marry. In 2014, Sungmin, another member, wed musical actress Kim Sa-eun. Following the marriage, Sunngmin took a temporary break from group activities.
