TWICE is having a successful year with an album release in February followed by a Japanese comeback and a historic conclusion to their world tour, READY TO BE, at Nissan Stadium.
TWICE has concluded their highly successful fifth world tour, drawing a total audience of 1.5 million fans worldwide.
To cap off the tour, TWICE performed two additional shows, ‘READY TO BE’ JAPAN SPECIAL, on July 27 and 28 at Nissan Stadium in Japan – the country’s largest stadium.
Their two-day concert in Japan drew 140,000 fans. This event marked the finale of their fifth world tour which continued for 15 months.
The group performed in 27 regions worldwide, delivered 51 shows, and attracted 1.5 million fans globally.
Performing at Nissan Stadium is a dream come true for any artist. With only a handful of acts lucky enough to take the stage each year, it’s a true badge of honor. TWICE made history as the first foreign female artist to headline a solo concert there.
Despite the ongoing extreme heat wave in Japan, 140,000 fans cheered them on over two days.
TWICE entertained the audience with unforgettable performances of many hit songs including CHEER UP, LIKEY, One Spark, Moonlight Sunrise, Love Warning, and more.
TWICE’s special Japan concert series drew a staggering 360,000 fans across three venues. The group performed to sold-out crowds at:
- Osaka Yanmar Stadium Nagai (July 13-14): 110,000 fans
- Tokyo Ajinomoto Stadium (July 20-21): 110,000 fans
- Kanagawa Nissan Stadium (July 27-28): 140,000 fans
This year, TWICE set a new persona best by topping the Billboard 200 chart with their mini album With YOU-th. Additionally, they reached a remarkable sales milestone of over 20 million albums sold in Korea and Japan as of May 2024.
After their Korean and Japanese comeback, TWICE’s trio subunit MISAMO is gearing up to release a new album in October.
