TWICE’s Nayeon is currently making waves with her second solo release, NA.
Besides the impressive album sales, it is doing exceptionally well on local and international music charts.
According to Billboard’s latest chart update on June 24, she made a debut on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, landing at number 7 with her second mini album NA.
As reported by Billboard, NA recorded 47,000 total album units, with a breakdown of 43,000 physical album sales and 4,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, during the tracking period.
The Billboard 200 chart calculates album consumption by combining physical album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA), and track equivalent albums (TEA), which converts digital song downloads into album units.
Furthermore, NA sold 376,825 copies in the first week of its release. It recorded 286,290 album sales on the first day, considerably higher than her debut solo release, IM NAYEON (123,835).
The lyrics of the title track ABCD are penned by Rick Bridges and Park Jin Young (J.Y. P), with BIGHIT MUSIC’s exclusive producer Pdog involved in the composition and arrangement.
On another note, Nayeon dropped NA on June 13 and is currently busy with promotional activities.
