It’s predicted that BTS enlistment in the military service won’t have a big impact on HYBE’s record division next year.
Analysts believe that they have a plan in place to fill the gap by releasing pre-prepared solo albums.
Lim Soo-jin, a researcher at Daishin Securities, shared in a report on December 28 that they had discussed the plans they had prepared to minimize the impact of BTS’ military service through communication with fans.
When it comes to the advance plans, he mentioned that it’s challenging to pinpoint which members will release albums.
However, the expectation is that two solo albums will be released among the four recently enlisted members, and one solo album for Jin, who is set to be discharged in June.
The estimated sales of HYBE for the fourth quarter of this year are 717.2 billion won, showing a 34% increase compared to the same period last year. The operating profit is estimated to be 92.9 billion won, which is an impressive 83% increase.
