In a night filled with electrifying performances and fierce competition, Stray Kids and TXT emerged as the ultimate winners at the VMAs 2023. Stray Kids took home the prestigious award for Best K-Pop, while TXT claimed the coveted title of Push Performance of the Year. The two powerhouse groups showcased their immense talent and left a lasting impression on fans and industry professionals alike.
Many notable K-pop groups were nominated for the MTV VMAs including Stray Kids, aespa, SEVENTEEN, BLACKPINK, and TXT. Tomorrow x Together (TXT) won the first award of the night. The sensational K-pop group took home the Push Performance of the Year award for Sugar Rush Ride.
On the other hand, Stray Kids bagged the Best K-Pop award for their hit song S-Class. Stray Kids were quite surprised when they were announced as winners. In addition, they made history by becoming the first artists from JYP Entertainment to win a VMA.
Both Stray Kids and TXT have proven time and time again that they are forces to be reckoned with. They are the only groups to join BLACKPINK and Stray Kids to perform at the prestigious music awards.
