IU is spilling the tea on the behind-the-scenes story of her latest album, The Winning. She’s giving fans an exclusive look into the making of the album and sharing some exciting content.
On February 20, IU dropped an interview video on her YouTube channel to celebrate the release of her 6th mini album, The Winning. In the video, she takes viewers behind the scenes and reveals the fascinating process of creating the album.
IU shared, “I am bringing up clearly different messages from the messages I told when I was in my 20s.”
Despite the filming period of her drama getting extended and potentially delaying the album release, she went the extra mile to make sure it came out sooner. The Love Wins All singer confessed, “I did not want to let this drag any longer though I might get exhausted,” and added, “It’s been a long time so what If I get exhausted.”
Regarding the core keyword of The Winning, IU revealed, “I added the keyword of The Winning in every song since those are the forthright words to express the person I am now.”
On turning 30, the Shopper singer shared, “As I enter my 30s, I think it is a favorable time for my competitive spirit and all to reignite,” and added. “I didn’t have that in my mid to late 20s.”
