Since their disbandment in November 2022, the members of BVNDIT—Yiyeon, Songhee, Jungwoo, Simyeong, and Seungeun—have pursued diverse paths in entertainment and beyond. The group, which debuted under MNH Entertainment in 2019, was known for their strong vocals and dynamic performances, but their disbandment left fans disappointed.
BVNDIT’s journey was not without its fair share of ups and downs, and the group became inactive in mid-2020 after a handful of comebacks. They made their final comeback with their third mini-album, Re-Original, before all BVNDIT members chose not to renew their contract with MNH Entertainment.
Where to Watch BVNDIT Members?
Here’s an updated look at what each member is doing now.
Yiyeon (Leader, Main Rapper)
Yiyeon, the group’s leader, has been exploring solo music and variety appearances. She remains active on Instagram and YouTube, where she shares dance covers and lifestyle content. Before BVNDIT, she was set to debut with 1PS as Dasol, and her experience has kept her connected to the industry.
A year after BVNDIT disbanded, he participated as a contestant Ujewel in GIRL’S RE:VERSE, a survival show to form a virtual girl group. However, she did not make the finale. In May 2023, she collaborated with indie artist Roden on the song It’s Been Forever.
Songhee (Lead Vocalist)
Songhee is the least active member of the group, and little is known about her activities outside of the spotlight. While she may not be as active, she frequently shares updates with her over 8K Instagram followers.
Jungwoo (Main Vocalist)
Jungwoo has ventured into acting, singing, and musical theater under ShowPLAY Actors. Last year, the 26-year-old K-pop star made their musical debut in Dream Girls, with a heartwarming reunion of BVNDIT members in attendance to cheer her on.
She also runs a YouTube channel featuring ASMR, skincare videos, dance covers, and behind-the-scenes content. In April this year, Jungwoo was accepted into the Boston campus of prestigious Berklee College of Music, where she will also be receiving a scholarship.
Simyeong (Lead Dancer, Vocalist)
Lee Simyeong has become a musical actress and occasionally posts dance tutorials on Instagram (s_i_meyong). She recently took on the role of a musical actress, starring in “Dorian Gray” from March 30 to June 8, 2025. Simyeong will next shine in the Korean adaptation of “Mamma Mia!”, set to hit the stage from July 26 to October 25, 2025. It appears she may continue her journey as a musical actress.
Seungeun (Main Dancer, Maknae)
Seungeun, who gained attention on Girls Planet 999 in 2021, signed with label Modenberry Korea this year. As per the officials from the agency, the BVNDIT maknae will continue her journey in various fields of entertainment.
Post-BVNDIT, he participated in the GIRL’S RE:VERSE, the same survival show that her bandmate Yiyeon participated in. As a contestant Zzaru, he vied for a spot in the virtual girl group but eventually lost.
Will BVNDIT Reunite?
While the members occasionally meet privately, there are no official reunion plans. However, fans (BVNDITBULs) remain hopeful, especially as some members stay active in entertainment.
