Is Kang Hoon leaving SBS’ popular variety show Running Man? An official has addressed rumors surrounding the departure of the cast member, putting an end to speculation among fans.
The producers of Running Man have confirmed that Kang Hoon will not be appearing on the show for the time being, but have denied rumors of his permanent departure.
In a statement to Daily Sports on July 15, the show’s representatives said, the A Time Called You actor will not appear in the immediate future, but he will return for future filming schedules.
He became the first-ever guest member to join the popular variety show Running Man in May and has been an active participant since then.
His temporary departure from ‘Running Man’ is likely due to scheduling conflicts with his other filming projects.
His two new dramas are set to premiere this year Including Hunter with a Scalpel and To My Haeri.
On another note, Running Man, which features Kang Hoon and other cast members in hilarious challenges and games, airs every Sunday at 6:15 PM on SBS.
