YG Entertainment is back at it again, searching for the next big K-pop stars through their global auditions for the third year in a row!
On March 8, YG Entertainment announced that they’ll be holding the 2024 YG GLOBAL AUDITION’ from April to December. This time, they’re expanding to even more cities to accommodate the growing number of participants.
It’s starting in Toronto, Canada on April 27, then hitting up Washington, D.C., New Jersey, New York, and Hawaii in the U.S. in May. In June, it’s off to Sydney, Brisbane, Australia, and Auckland, New Zealand.
July brings auditions in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. August will be all about LA and Seattle in the U.S. In November, Thailand will be joining in with a joint audition with YGMM. Finally, in December, candidates can audition in Manila, Jakarta, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City.
The 2024 YG GLOBAL AUDITION is open to individuals born between 2006 and 2013, regardless of their gender or nationality. Participants can choose to showcase their talents in singing, rapping, dancing, or visuals based on their confidence in each area.
Candidates can either pre-register in advance through the YG Entertainment audition website by scanning the QR code on the poster or register on-site by visiting the audition venue on the day of the audition.
