Yoo Seung Woo stunned fans with a surprise announcement of his military enlistment on a radio broadcast.
On July 26, the 27-year-old singer made a guest appearance on MBC FM4U’s Lee Seok-hoon’s Brunch Cafe, which was hosted by Yoon Sang, filling in for Lee Seok Hoon, who was on leave.
The host Yoon Sang asked about his military enlistment date, saying that this is the first time Yoo Seung Woo’s military enlistment date has been announced.
He answered saying, “I will be enlisting on September 2, I have already prepared music, I don’t have time to breathe.”
Before enlistment in September, Yoo Seung Woo revealed he had a few final performances lined up, a music show tapings in early August, and a couple more shows later that month.
He is celebrating his 11th debut anniversary this year. Yoo Seung Woo rose to fame in 2012 after competing on Mnet’s ‘Superstar K4’ and made his debut the following year with the mini-album First Picnic.
