Zico, a member of Block B, has been chosen as the new host for the show The Seasons. The production team of KBS 2TV’s music talk show The Seasons announced on March 25 that Zico will take over as the new host, following in the footsteps of Lee Hyori.
The Seasons was the pioneering music show to implement a seasonal format, attracting significant interest for its distinctive approach of rotating the MC for each season. Beginning with Jay Park’s Drive, Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park, and AKMU’s Day and Night, the current fourth season is Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet.
Hyori, after 26 years since her debut, became the solo MC using her real name for the first time, garnering considerable attention right from the outset.
On March 8, the Red Carpet production team revealed that the last recording is set for March 26, and this recording will air as the concluding episode of the fourth season of The Seasons on March 29.
Furthermore, in the last episode of Lee Hyori’s Red Carpet, all former MCs are slated to make appearances.
