ONEUS will officially part ways with RBW after seven years, but the group will continue activities together under the same name.
On January 2, 2026, RBW released an official statement confirming that they have “mutually agreed to conclude the exclusive contracts with all five members at the end of February 2026.” According to the statement, ONEUS members will conclude their activities with the label in February.
RBW explained, “ONEUS will wrap up their official schedules as RBW artists with the release of a new album and related broadcast activities scheduled for January 2026.” This album will mark the group’s last release under the company.
Despite the contract termination, RBW made it clear that ONEUS is not disbanding. The company and the members have agreed to preserve the group’s name, values, and identity. The agency added, “Separate from the conclusion of their exclusive contracts, both the company and the members agreed on the importance of continuing the value and identity of ONEUS. Accordingly, it has been decided that the group will continue its activities under the name ONEUS in the future.”
RBW also stated that they will actively cooperate in any matters needed for team activities so the members can stay connected with their fandom, TO MOON, no matter the circumstances.
ONEUS debuted in January 2019 under RBW and quickly became known as the label’s next major group following MAMAMOO. The group consists of Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong, and Xion. Just last month, they successfully wrapped up their world tour with a final stop in Warsaw, Poland.
Their departure follows after several major artists left RBW in recent years. Multiple Mamamoo members chose not to renew their exclusive contract while still continuing group activities.
Vocal group VROMANCE disbanded in September 2024. In August 2025, fourth-generation girl group PURPLE KISS also disbanded, with member Swan later revealing that the group’s contracts reportedly still run until 2028.
Because of this context, ONEUS’s situation stands out as a rare and positive case. Rather than disbanding or entering an uncertain hiatus, the group has secured the right to keep their name and continue activities together. Many have described the transition as a “beautiful farewell,” as it allows ONEUS to move forward while honoring their history.
