Previously, the Weverse live of S.Coups, Mingyu, and Jeonghan was continually interrupted due to sasaeng phone calls. This time, Hoshi of SEVENTEEN faced a similar issue when went live on the fan community platform Weverse.
On November 9, Hoshi went on Weverse to interact with fans. However, he faced a frustrating situation as sasaeng fans persistently called him during the broadcast. Expressing his anger, Hoshi firmly stated, “If you call, I won’t continue the live. Please don’t call. It’s really annoying to even respond.”
Hoshi also expressed his frustration by saying, “Even if you call from a restricted number, it can still be reported and filed as a complaint. I am not filing a complaint because I’m concerned about the caller being too young.”
He further added, “I’m trying to spend quality time with CARATs, so why do you keep interrupting me?” He mentioned that the caller was trying to verify my number, however, their behavior lacked manners.
Sasaengs are still invading idols’ private lives and engaging in stalking behavior. They’re doing terrible things like interrupting communication with fans during live streams, constantly calling and texting, and even speculating about their homes.
Previously, a woman was arrested for stalking BTS’ V and allegedly handing him a marriage certificate. Also, Jungkook has addressed the troublesome sasaeng behavior in the past.
