Han Sohee, who is publicly dating actor Ryu Jun Yeol, has once more denied rumors of a transit romance.
On March 29, Han Sohee shared a lengthy statement in her now-deleted Instagram post expressing, “I am tired of any more speculation.”
The Gyeongseong Creature actress shared the story of how she met and began dating Ryu Jun Yeol. She shared, “I’m no longer young and am seeking direction in life now in my thirties,” and added, “It was during this journey that I met this person. It was exactly in November of last year at a photo exhibition.”
Sohee further refuted rumors of transit romance saying, “There was no such connection – not even the bear at home was a gift, but rather purchased via KakaoTalk in 2021. Unlike my naive dating days, where looks seemed like everything, I’ve learned that they aren’t everything. I felt healthier both physically and mentally as I embraced more daring aspects of myself.”
Further, Han Sohee shared, “It’s important to note that I had no intention of disrespecting my former partner’s time. It’s true that we parted ways last year,” and added, “We exchanged final well-wishes, but it’s not to divulge personal romantic histories or imply transition.
She addressed Ryu Jun Yeol’s silence regarding the whole situation, “I’m also frustrated because one of the parties involved is staying silent, leaving room for speculative articles alleging deceitful relationships.”
Regarding Hyeri’s apology letter, Sohee revealed, “The suggestion to meet in November, as mentioned in the senior’s apology letter, wasn’t about rekindling anything. While I can’t elaborate further, it wasn’t for the purpose of reunion. If this is untrue, feel free to publish a rebuttal article and please contact the senior who remains unreachable despite attempts to reach out in all directions.”
Ryu Jun Yeol confirmed his split with his former girlfriend Hyeri in November of last year following seven years of dating in the public eye. Han Sohee and Ryu Jun Yeol first crossed paths in November of the same year, leading to speculations about a rebound relationship.
