Kang Daniel, a popular singer, has taken legal action against the majority shareholder of his management agency, Konnect Entertainment, accusing him of falsifying personal documents.
He has filed an official police complaint against the individual, known as Mr. A, alleging document forgery.
The 27-year-old singer has filed a criminal complaint with the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency against Mr. A, the majority shareholder of Connect Entertainment, alleging multiple criminal charges.
The charges include forgery of private documents, embezzlement, breach of trust, unauthorized access and damage to information and communication networks, and computer fraud.
Mr. A holds approximately 70% of the shares in Konnect Entertainment, making him the largest stakeholder.
Kang Daniel’s legal representatives have filed a criminal complaint against Mr. A, alleging four serious charges. They stated that Kang Daniel, who has led the company as CEO and artist for the past five years, is taking this action to protect the artists, employees, and third-party contractors who have trusted and supported him like family.
They emphasized that Kang Daniel has made significant efforts over the past year to minimize harm and resolve issues before resorting to legal action.
