On May 23, the police received the final autopsy results from the National Forensic Service, which concluded that Park Boram’s death was likely caused by acute alcohol poisoning. No other potential causes of death were identified in the report.

On April 11, she was found unconscious at a friend’s house in Namyangju around 9:55 PM. She was rushed to the hospital but unfortunately passed away about an hour later.

Previously, it was revealed that the Want to Be Happy singer was drinking with friends when she got up to use the bathroom and didn’t come back. When her acquaintances went to check on her, they found her unresponsive, and her heart had already stopped beating.

Park Boram’s health was deteriorating at the time of her death due to liver lesions and fatty liver disease.

Having lost her parents to liver-related illnesses at just 23, her struggles with her health led to her tragic passing at 30, due to acute alcoholism.

Her father died from liver cirrhosis in 2010, and her mother also suffered from liver cancer for many years before passing away in 2017.

In 2010, she appeared on the Mnet audition program Superstar K2, where she shared a heartfelt story about her father’s passing and her desire to keep a promise to him through her singing.
