K-pop group A.C.E has announced their departure from their agency, Beat Interactive, after an eight-year partnership.
On March 21, Beat Interactive announced, “Our exclusive contract with A.C.E will end on March 31, 2025.”
They continued, “Unlike past practices, we will allow A.C.E to freely use their group name and content without any conditions to ensure their continued and smooth activities after the contract termination.”
They also added, “We are honored to have had a valuable time with the artists as collaborators over the past 10 years, working together on countless projects. Ten years ago, we started Beat Interactive with two employees and five members, brought together by a connection between a young manager and aspiring trainees. Our goal was to express the values that fans wanted and the anxieties of the times through music, based on the unique color of A.C.E. We have worked hard to find our own unique music style, going through many trials and errors, based on the trust we built while overcoming many obstacles together.”
Beat Interactive apologized to A.C.E for trusting and relying on their insufficient representation so far. At the same time, they expressed sincere gratitude for being able to work together on the musical activities that they dreamed of.
They vowed to cheer for A.C.E’s future endeavors and asked for unchanged interest and support for A.C.E’s another new beginning.
Formed by Beat Interactive, A.C.E (Adventure Calling Emotions) is a South Korean boy group consisting of five members (Wow, Park Junhee, Kim Byeongkwan, Kang Yuchan, and Lee Jiham). They launched their career on May 23, 2017, with the single album “Cactus”.
Meanwhile, A.C.E reunited with fans for the first time in three years following member military service and the COVID-19 pandemic. They made their long-awaited comeback with the release of their third single album “PINATA” last November.
