South Korean actors Jung Hae In and Im Siwan, both born in 1988, are teaming up for a unique travel series, Actors on a Journey.
The show follows the close friends as they explore Scotland. Known for their acting careers and longstanding friendship, the duo decided to take this journey together to discover new places, enjoy leisure activities, and share personal stories along the way. The 2-episode show Actors on a Journey will premiere on August 23 and conclude on August 30.
The travel variety show will highlight Jung Hae In and Im Siwan visiting iconic locations across Scotland, including distilleries, golf courses, and picturesque spots perfect for photography. The actors take turns photographing each other and capture moments that highlight both the country’s beauty and their genuine friendship.
Fans are offered a behind-the-scenes look at how the two interact, revealing their playful side, teamwork, and support for one another throughout the trip. A teaser released before the premiere emphasized Jung Hae In’s role as a reliable travel companion, helping with luggage and guiding Im Siwan through their adventures.
Both actors have been actively building impressive careers alongside their personal projects. Jung Hae In recently appeared in the second season of the hit drama D.P., which follows military police pursuing deserters.
Im Siwan, meanwhile, starred in Summer Strike, portraying a character seeking a fresh start in a small town. Next, he is scheduled to appear in Coupang TV’s drama, Boyhood, scheduled for release later this year.
Meanwhile, fans can watch the show, Actors on a Journey on JTBC every Wednesday starting August 23 and stream it on Viu.
