It is hard for MYs to imagine Karina as anything other than an idol given her perfect looks and singing talent.
However, it was not her original plan to be in the limelight and become an idol. However, fate had other plans and she ended up being an SM trainee and the member of the hugely popular girl group at the moment, aespa.
On June 7, Karina appeared on Hyeri’s Youtube show Hyell’s club to talk about aespa’s comeback and the upcoming variety show on Netflix, Agents of Mystery.
When asked what she would have done if she didn’t become an idol, the 24-year-old singer shared her childhood dream saying, “I prepared to be a flight attendant. I even attended a Chinese language school to become a flight attendant.”
Notably, this is not the first time she has shared her dream of becoming a flight attendant. Previously, in an interview with the magazine, Karina shared that while she dreamt of becoming a singer, she also considered studying to be a flight attendant. She wanted to pursue this profession because she loves to travel and learn new languages.
On the work front, aespa released their first full-length album Armageddon and now Karina is set to appear in Netflix’s Show Agents of Mystery, scheduled to premiere on June 18.
