After making their relationship public earlier this year, Ailee and Choi Si Hoon are all set to tie the knot next year.
On November 19, her agency, A2Z Entertainment, announced that Ailee will be marrying entrepreneur and actor Choi Si Hoon on April 20 next year.
Choi’s breakout moment came with participating in the debut season of Netflix’s wildly popular “Single’s Inferno” show.
The couple met through a mutual friend and has been in a relationship for approximately one year. They decided to tie the knot after building a strong foundation of love and trust.
The agency stated, “Since deciding to get married, they have received blessings from both families and relatives. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the fans who have sent their congratulations and support since the news of our relationship was made public.”
Ailee posted a long message on her fan cafe at midnight on November 19, saying, “I have grown into the person I am today, full of brightness and energy thanks to your support, and I have decided to get married to someone with whom I can share all this love.”
She also mentioned, “I have met a grateful and reliable person who has given me a shoulder to lean on and support me, and his understanding and consideration made me think that I want to be with him for a lifetime.”
Choi Si Hoon, the talented actor and model, has taken a break from the entertainment industry and is now focusing on his business ventures, particularly in the Food and Beverage (F&B) and Multi-Channel Network (MCN) sectors.
He rose to fame with his stint on Netflix’s “Single’s Inferno” Season 1, where he paired up with Song Jia, however, they did not make it to the finale.
Choi Si Hoon’s acting resume boasts notable roles in “I Started Following Romance,” “Clumsy Love,” and “Cafe Kilimanjaro.” He was also set to debut as a K-pop idol with TRIPLEME, but the group never officially launched.
In May, they shared their wedding plans but kept the exact date under wraps.
Ailee and Choi Si Hoon will exchange vows on April 20, 2025.
