The Brand of the Year Awards 2025 honored the brands and stars expected to lead their fields in the coming year, based on extensive consumer surveys and expert evaluations in South Korea and Vietnam.
Organized by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee, the event recognized remarkable contributions across music, drama, film, sports, and variety entertainment.
The Brand of the Year Awards attracted 3,085,743 participants and recorded a total of 28,271,703 votes. Organized by the Korea Consumer Forum, the awards announced winners in the People and Culture categories on August 28, based on the results of both domestic and global consumer voting.
Yoo Jae Suk secured the Male Entertainer title for the sixth year running, becoming the first to achieve back-to-back victories in both the People and Culture divisions. Park Bo Gum earned three awards for his acting in When Life Gives You Tangerines and hosting The Seasons. Faker was named Athlete of the Year for his record-breaking career and loyalty to T1.
Internationally, Stray Kids won Male Idol, while aespa triumphed in both Vietnam and Indonesia. IU claimed Female Vocalist and Actress (OTT) in Indonesia, with G-Dragon taking Male Solo Artist.
