Big Ocean’s Kim Jiseok Credits BTS’ RM for His K-pop Idol Journey

RM fans and ARMYs were moved to discover that his positive impact played a role in fulfilling someone’s dream of becoming a K-pop idol.

On April 19, Kim Jiseok, a member of the first hearing-impaired K-pop group Big Ocean, shared the details of RM’s donation to his school.

In an interview, Jiseok shared his love for RM, saying, “I donated from Seoul Samsung School, a school for people with hearing impairments,” and added, “RM donated to our school’s music education.”

He credited BTS’ leader RM for helping him discover dancing and cover songs. It was because of him he got interested in music and pursued his dream of becoming a K-pop idol. 

He also expressed his wish to collaborate with RM if he ever gets the chance to meet him someday.

Fans of the BTS rapper are praising him for his kindness and for being the light for many.

On another note, RM is currently enlisted in the military along with the rest of the members and is scheduled to return in June next year.
