BLINKs were in for a special treat ahead of the highly-awaited BLACKPINK reunion.
On August 8 at midnight, BLACKPINK members, Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, reunited to celebrate their 8th debut anniversary with BLINKs.
They went live on Weverse ahead of the fan sign event scheduled on the afternoon of August 8.
While only 88 lucky fans will get to meet BLACKPINK girls for the event, they decided to communicate with fans all around the world more intimately through Weverse live.
Fans were excited to finally see them together after what felt like an eternity. After the Born Pink finale in Seoul, they were seen at the South Korean State Banquet at Buckingham Palace in November.
This will be the first time BLACKPINK will be reuniting after parting ways with YG Entertainment for individual activities.
While they will be making a comeback and meeting fans through the world tour next year, BLINKs finally have something to look forward to. Besides the fansign event on August 8, they will be making another group appearance the next day.
BLACKPINK will reunite for the movie screening of their concert film, Born Pink, on August 9. They are also rumored to attend the Billboard Korea Launch party, however, nothing has been confirmed yet.
BLACKPINK debuted on August 8, 2016, with a single album, Square One, featuring tracks Boombayah and Whistle. Since then, they released many chart-topping singles and albums including Born Pink, How You Like That, Kill This Love, and more.
