BLACKPINK’s Jennie is joining the My Name is Gabriel crew for a memorable episode.
According to reports from OSEN on September 3, Jennie recently completed filming for her special guest spot on JTBC’s entertainment program My Name is Gabriel.
Following the conclusion of Apartment 404, the You & Me singer received an offer to join the new aforementioned variety show, produced by Kim Tae Ho. He officially turned down the offer to focus on her long-awaited debut album.
PD Kim Tae Ho later confirmed that Jennie was approached, but nothing was finalized.

My Name is Gabriel features a star-studded cast, including Park Bo Gum, Yeom Hye Ran, Dex, Park Myung Soo, Hong Jin Kyung, Ji Chang Wook, and more.
Insiders reveal that Jennie was anxious about solo activities, especially on entertainment shows, as she had not explored this territory much. She appeared on Apartment 404 which concluded in April, her first variety show appearance in five years.
Jennie, Lisa, Rosé, and Jisoo are all pursuing solo endeavors and working on new releases. They will reunite next year for a comeback and a world tour.
Lastly, the BLACKPINK member Jennie’s episodes of My Name is Gabriel will be broadcast on JTBC over two Fridays, September 27 and October 4.
