Lisa from BLACKPINK has finally announced her upcoming single, MOONLIT FLOOR!
On September 28, the 27-year-old rapper headlined the Global Citizen Festival.
During her historic performance, she surprised the audience by singing the unreleased song, MOONLIT FLOOR. Lisa has been teasing her new song for a while now, and it is finally announced.
Through TikToks and Instagram reels, she shared multiple teasers, hinting that her new single samples the iconic 1997 song Kiss Me by Sixpence None The Richer.
She added her own twist to the popular song which everyone seems to praise. Attendees at the Global Citizen Festival 2024 were grooving to the songs, praising her vocals. Additionally, she performed Money, LALISA, New Woman, and ROCKSTAR.
This is Lisa’s third single in the past few months, therefore, expectations are at an all-time high. She began her solo journey under the umbrella of RCA Records and LLOUD in June with the release of ROCKSTAR followed by New Woman ft. Rosalía in August and MOONLIT FLOOR in October.
Her last two songs ROCKSTAR and New Woman charted on the Billboard HOT 100, debuting at #70 and #97 respectively.
On another note, Lisa’s MOONLIT FLOOR will be available on all streaming platforms on October 3. She is also set to make history as the first K-pop headliner at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on October 15.
