Following her bandmate Jisoo, BLACKPINK’s Lisa is joining the fan communication platform, Bubble.
The 27-year-old rapper will be joining Dear U’s ‘Bubble’ as a solo artist. She is set to communicate with fans directly and share updates through the platform.
On August 19, Dear U’s CEO, Jong-oh Ahn, announced that BLACKPINK’s Lisa will join the platform’s new feature, “Bubble for LLOUD”, launching in September.
This move is in line with her goal to engage with fans, as she recently restarted her global solo career with the release of singles ROCKSTAR and NEW WOMAN (feat. Rosalía).
The Money rapper wants to use Bubble to stay connected with fans as a member of BLACKPINK and as a solo artist. Bubble has a large global user base, with 74% of users from outside Korea, making it a great way for Lisa to reach fans worldwide.
On the work front, Lisa recently released her new single NEW WOMAN, following the release of ROCKSTAR in June. She plans to release a full album this year and is currently occupied with making new music and filming season 3 of The White Lotus.
She recently attended BLACKPINK’s 8th debut anniversary celebration at the fan sign and “Pink Carpet” event.
