On August 30, YG PLUS, the album distributor, announced that BOYNEXTDOOR’s third mini-album, 19.99, had received 719,889 pre-orders, ten days prior to the group’s comeback.

This total exceeds the final pre-order count of 571,600 copies for their second mini-album, HOW?, by approximately 25%.

This year, BOYNEXTDOOR has achieved over 1 million cumulative album sales, according to Circle Chart, with their second mini-album HOW? (released in April) and Japanese debut single AND (released in July).

Additionally, their Billboard 200 chart performance shows an increase in ranking, with their first release WHY.. debuting at #162 and HOW? placing at #93.

BOYNEXTDOOR’s third mini-album 19.99, set to release on September 9 at 6 PM, symbolizes the transition from teenage years to twenties. The album contains songs by the members about their experiences and thoughts during this stage of life.

They will release a pre-release track, Parents Not Allowed, on September 2nd at 6 PM, ahead of their comeback. The song is a hip-hop track with a simple and strong beat, describing a midnight escape without getting caught by parents. The group will perform the song on music shows for a week, starting with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on September 5.
