BTS members, RM, SUGA, and j-hope, attended the wedding of their long-time stylist Kim Youngjin (a.k.a. “kimvenchy”) and Lee Hajeong in Seoul today. Even with their busy schedules, especially after completing military service, it is praiseworthy that they made time to support their staff.
j-hope was already back in Korea after performing at Lollapalooza Berlin in Germany. On the other hand, RM and SUGA flew in from the U.S. specifically to attend Kimvenchy’s wedding.
They had been in the States along with Jungkook, V, and Jimin to work on the BTS album, while j-hope and Jin were expected to join them soon. Still, they made a brief stop in Seoul to be there for the celebration.
RM also gave a wedding speech, introducing himself as, “I’m a singer from BTS named Kim Namjoon. Nice to meet you!.” One fan even jokingly called him a “certified yappatron” for his heartfelt speech.
While j-hope is quite active lately with his world tour, festival performances, and music releases, fans have missed seeing SUGA in public. After his discharge on June 21, fans got a glimpse of the rapper in the group’s live stream earlier this month and at BLACKPINK’s LA concert last week.
Seeing the BTS rapline at the wedding, fans were also reminded of a light-hearted moment from a 2015 fansign, where BTS members shared the age they wanted to get married. Yoongi (SUGA) said 35, RM picked 32–33, Jin said 31, Taehyung (V) chose 30, while Jimin joked, “15 years later.” j-hope and Jungkook humorously said, “100.”
Fast-forward to 2025, and none of them are married yet, and their own timelines for marriage may have changed.
With all seven members officially done with military duties last month, they confirmed that BTS is working on a new full-group album in the U.S., with a planned release in spring 2026, followed by a world tour.
Individually, members have been active as well. Jin launched his RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in late June. j-hope released a new digital single, “Killin’ It Girl,” on June 13 and concluded his “Hope on the Stage” world tour.
On July 18, BTS also dropped Permission to Dance On Stage – Live, a concert album featuring performances from Seoul, selling 326,145 copies on the first day.
