On November 1, a Korean media outlet reported that the boy group and the agency failed to reach an agreement. If everything settles, this would be BtoB’s second contract renewal with Cube Entertainment.

In response to the rumors surrounding contract negotiations, Cube Entertainment recently provided a statement to Xports News, stating that the contract renewal period between Cube Entertainment and certain BtoB members is still ongoing.

The agency expressed its commitment to giving its best efforts until the contract expires. Cube Entertainment also mentioned that they understand the BTOB members are exploring different options to resolve the contract renewal situation.

Previously, it was reported that the BTOB members offered a whopping 6 billion won as a group contract deposit to the agencies they reached out to.

Cube Entertainment clarified that the reported 6 billion won contract fee has no connection to their company’s position. They emphasized that the mentioned amount is unrelated to their negotiations with the members.

BtoB, who debuted in 2012, renewed their contract in 2018 and have been actively pursuing their music, acting, and entertainment careers ever since. They recently released their 12th mini album ‘WIND AND WISH’ in May.
