G-Dragon has finally addressed the rumors circulating about his alleged 100 million won wedding gift to comedian Jo Se Ho.
The K-pop idol recently released his 3rd studio album “Übermensch” after a long break of 11 years on February 25. After the album release, he has been appearing on various variety shows and web entertainment shows to promote his upcoming release.
On February 26, G-Dragon appeared as a guest on Lee Yong Jin’s YouTube show “Yongtaro” and addressed a rumor that has been circulating since Jo Se Ho’s wedding in October 2024.
The host Lee Yong Jin asked the BIGBANG leader if he gave 100 million won as congratulatory money to the popular comedian. To which, he replied, “I didn’t give any wedding money, I gave Se Ho hyung a present instead.”
Lee Yong Jin brought up the topic again, referencing a video that claimed Yoo Jae Suk came in third with x amount, while G-Dragon took the top spot with 100 million won. The 36-year-old rapper was taken aback by the rumor, saying, “I don’t know how you’d go about it. Do you bring it in a box of apples?”
When Lee asked him about making an appearance on Jo Se Ho’s YouTube channel, he playfully responded, saying, “I went to his wedding, that’s enough”.
In addition, he talked about the album and 2026 plans. G-Dragon also assured fans that he won’t take a longer break again and may step aside for a while to work on new music or an album.
The “POWER” rapper also shared that 2026 is special since it is BIGBANG’s 20th debut anniversary. However, he revealed that they do not have anything planned as of yet.
Meanwhile, G-Dragon will embark on a world tour “Übermensch” on March 29-30 followed by stops in other cities.
