K-pop fans were treated to a special sight at aespa’s recent Seoul concert as two special guests were seen in the crowd, cheering on the group. Suho from EXO and Irene from Red Velvet were spotted enjoying aespa’s performance in Seoul.
aespa launched their second world tour, SYNK: Parallel Line, with a high-energy performance in Seoul on June 29, followed by another highly anticipated show scheduled for June 30.
Besides Suho and Irene, EXO’s Chanyeol and Junmyeon were also spotted, supporting his labelmates. Suho and Irene sat together, with Chanyeol seated in the back row.
aespa members thanked EXO’s Suho and Red Velvet’s Irene for attending their concert during their stage remarks.
Karina shared, “Irene unnie, Suho sunbaenim, and Chanyeol sunbaenim are here.” Winter sought feedback from the special guests, asking “Are we doing well, unnie and oppas?” and received a thumbs up of approval from Chanyeol, Suho, and Irene in the audience.
This isn’t the duo’s first concert outing together; they have a history of supporting fellow artists, having also attended a show together in 2019.
On another note, aespa kicked off their world tour after releasing their first full album, Armageddon. After the Seoul concerts, the group will head to Japan with shows scheduled in Fukuoka (July 6), Aichi (July 10-11), and Saitama (July 14-15). aespa will drop the Japanese single HOT MESS next month.
