Instead, Min claimed she was forcibly removed from her CEO position without her consent.

On August 27, ADOR held a board meeting with an agenda of a leadership change. As a result, Internal Director Kim Joo Young was appointed as the new CEO.

Per the statement, Min Hee Jin will step down from management but remain in charge of production, maintaining her executive director role.

This leadership shake-up aims to separate production and management, aligning ADOR with the company’s multi-label operation principle.

Previously, it has been applied to all other labels except ADOR, where the former CEO Min oversaw both.

As per her representative, Min Hee Jin objected to the board’s decision, claiming it was made without her consent and violated the shareholder agreement. She considered it a unilateral dismissal.

ADOR countered, stating that the decision followed proper procedures outlined in the Commercial Act and Articles of Incorporation. They emphasized that the meeting notice and agenda were properly shared and voting procedures were followed correctly.

In addition, ADOR shared that the meeting date was chosen from options Min Hee Jin had suggested and she attended the meeting via video conference.

The leadership change at ADOR comes four months after a dispute between ADOR’s parent company, HYBE, and Min Hee Jin. HYBE accused her of trying to take control of the company, but she denied this, claiming it was retaliation for speaking out against wrongdoing.
